After the Tetralogia degli Elementi Piero Pelù left the band and was replaced by Gianluigi Cavallo and later by Filippo Margheri until the band reunion of 2009. From 1990 to 1998 Litfiba released the hits El Diablo, Fata Morgana and Regina di Cuori. As we can see form Terremoto, one of the best-selling albums of the band, the group has left the new wave vibes to approach a rock sound. In 1990, with the Tetralogia degli Elementi, the most important period of Litfiba’s history began. On 1982 Litfiba released the self-produced EP Guerra and won the Festival Rock Italiano in Bologna.Īfter several EPs in 1985 Litfiba released their debut album Desaparesido, which is part of their Trilogia del Potere with the following albums 17 Re and Litfiba 3 and became one of the most important albums of the new Italian rock. The band performed for the first time in December 1980 at the Rokkoteca Brighton of Settignano (Florence) and then all over Italy to create an audience.
